Looking for a online videogame store in the UK
Hi All, I am looking for an online videogame store in the UK, that ships games within Europe. I could use amazon.co.uk, but I saw that the release date for 'EA Skate 2' is end of February 2009, which I believe is a mistake. The release date should be end of January 2009. Many thanks for any store suggestions. The game needs to be PAL-Version. Cheers, Daniel

Take a look at GamesTracker - Tracking Gaming Prices, News and Reviews around the web. You can search the uk shops, but you can also change country and search shops overseas, and it'll also pull out the best prices it can find.

I already own Skate (1st version), Skate 2 will be released at the end of January 09. Therefore, it's not available on ebay so far.
IMO, Skate was one of the best (timeless) games that came out in the last year. If you were into skateboarding in real life at some point, you don't need to look any further, it's the holy grail. The Tony Hawk series is like a baby toy compared to this.

Thanks, I will check it out.

I was very actively skating from 1984 (age 10) until 1998 (age 24). In summer 2005, some friends and I started again but of course mainly doing basic tricks and crusing around. Still, once you are seriously into skateboarding... you are hooked for life one way or another. This game is so absolutely gorgeous that it is hard to explain and definitely a must have if you are into or like skateboarding in general. The button layout and how you pull the tricks with the controller (flick-it) is excellent and you really have to learn your tricks like in real life. In short: You cannot go wrong with this one for sure ... my friends, probably the whole skateboard community and myself guarantee this to you!

fully agreed !
best game EVER for replay value !
would be damn good to see another Dave Mirra in production though (unhappy BMXer with no games to cater for me ! LOL)

Yeah, BMX did not get much support in the games community lately. Also, a new Amped Snowboarding game would be nice, but of course based on the 1st and 2nd version and the original developing team.

As for skating I might have to get this as used to love Tony Hawks on the PS2. My brother (used to do a lot of skating back in the day) was around last night and showed me some clips of Rodney Mullen - impressive stuff
