I was told that the Storm would make it's way over to T-mobile shortly but I was told this by a T-mobile shop so I'm sure they were lying through their back teeth. Looks very nice though.

Hope it 's good!!
I want one, but Voda want £300!!!
I'm not prepared to pay that, nor pay a stupid amount per month - I'm just not a that type of "power-user"
Emailed Voda to see what they can do (if anything)
oh well, back to the paper cup & string!

iphones arent seen as work devices though are they? well our company doesnt see them as such. A fair opinion of corp blackberry users arent to keen on the touch screen (they like keyboards) as the main purpose of the device is to send emails and you cant type quickly and send lots of email on touch screens. I guess thats why theyve made it 'clicky' and also to draw users away from iphones

how many "reactions" to the iphone are we seeing lol
none of them are truly any good, and the iphones not exactly stellar is it..
lets be brutally honest
Iphone
The camera is woeful given that the benchmark is 5.0mp
No MMS
No media streaming via bluetooth
Non standard user replaceable battery
Total reliance on Itunes for registration of the phone
And its a big ****
and if apple says its good everyone goes Woooooo
That said, its interface and screen are probably one of the best, they could be a lot better though.
prehaps if apple didnt run with such quirky OS and became a little more mainstream, then they would in all honesty clean up the mobile phone market

Although I agree with some of your comments, I still think the iPhone is very good. Although you list it as a negative, I like iTunes as a place to find applications (games etc..) and it is great to have a phone, video player, games, music all wrapped into one slick device.
Having just spent quite a while away from home it certainly whiles away the hours in hotels and sitting at airports.

mind you i got well addicted to scrabble & monopoly on my Trio 600
all that lacked was wifi & 3G
As i said, its a shame you cant get all you want in a phone these days...
the Samsung pixon looks good, as does the LG Renoir
Gphone looks reasonable too as does the X1
mind you why did SE move away from joysticks? you wouldn't play COD 4
with a thumb pad or 4 way pad would you

just got back from a hectic day at work on the release day of the storm. we had around 100 units which was all gone by the time i left about 6. some were upgrades but a lot were new connections
the final version is not bad, supports most media files too including avi files. blackberry guy came in and said that they'll all get an update the latest firmware automatically some time next week, which will improve the device in many ways

I was going to get the blackberry storm , but I just paid out for a new LG renoir(sim free). The internet is as good as the iphone and the camera is pretty good ?? I will see for definate when I go on my jollies in a month. There are that many good phones around at the minute but not one has all the features you want

got my storm today, the clicky screen takes some getting used to but in my opinion when in lanscape is far better than the iphone altough the screen does not scroll as smoothly as the iphone.
overall initial impression is that i like it alot, especially being able to send mms again
all that talk of 'just send an email' is b0ll0ks

Shame the blackberry is twice as likely to go wrong as the iphone, still think they need to do something "more reliable" if they want that chunk of the market (plus the fact that voda are making BIG redundancies to "streamline" the company) they need something to give them a perk up now.

Just played with a Storm and a HTC HD, both are disparate, no where near as intuitive as the iPhone and a pain to use. Keep trying HTC and RIM.

you say that but the darn thing wont recieve my contacts from any phone i put my sim card in and try and bluetooth, anyone any ideas???
Cant sync with pc or any program as all contacts on sim as iphone broke and was using a w960i, it just wont accept them whatever i do.

how well have iphones been working with exchange email, administrating them and with security? Blackberry's obviously have been designed for such. This is also the reason why we didn't go with PDA's

If you have 2 Exchange servers and have one set up as a Front End and one connected as a Back End there are a greater set of choices including Remote Wipe/Nuke like the blackberry devices but this has an entire overhead to the system and needs configuring correctly.
I spent a long time reviewing security documents from Microsoft regarding the changes that needed to be made in order to allow the iPhones to connect to OMA.
