Played a bit online today ..... I can't hit a thing online

COD4 for me I'm afraid

 

anyone want a bit of closed door **** poor player practice ?

Failing that I'm off to rip the wheels of the yanks on Forza

 

online takes a while, took me about 4/5 games to get used to the change from GOW1

but i am doing ok now, still prefer hoarde mode to be honest!

found out that private party games can pretty much pick whatever mode and map they want, which is a bonus!

 

Must say that i'm not that impressed.
Everytime I try and run, I snap to cover somewhere! This caused me to die on the boat with the big fish quite a few times! I think the single player is too bloody dark and the multiplayer takes too long to search.
Again, I think it's overrated I can't see me having it for long.

I think Unreal 3 is a better online game than GOW2.

 

you need to pull the little stick backwards when running dont push it forwards when holding the run button. They changed this setting about 6 months after GOW1 was released.

 

anyone finished it yet i finished it tonight only had it since last friday night and played for a couple of hours a night .
might have to trade it in for cod world at war

 

must admit seems a little easy only really been at since monday and on last scene but horde is superb dont like the multiplayer though

 

it took me 25 minutes, sitting and searching for "players of similar skill" to play anything multiplayer, truly pissed off. great game though graphics superb, but multiplayer search spoils it for me. im defending hq on the game towards the end, well i think its near the end is that right???? u know when colonel hoffman steps in and fights alongside you?

anyone else feel a tiny whimper of a tear when dom found his missus? only me then, lol

 

finished it on sunday, was keeping a watch one other peoples achievements on my friends list, to see what kind of things people were getting, and was very surprised when a good few of them finished the game on casual, feckin pussies

multiplayer, i find that if i reset the bthome hub before i search, i get a faster match

but yeah, the matchmaking is ****, 5 player hoarde mode is superb


was supposed to start my second play through last night in co-op with a mate who has just bought it, i wanted to play on hardcore and the ****** must have pressed start before i changed it

so i started playing through on normal again

 

I need a co-op buddy to do hardcore/Insane ..... anyone ?

Heard a few people commenting on how easy Hardcore is but seeing as I was already quite a way through I didn't bother restarting.

Started doing Insane Co-op last night - it's not too bad so far, just those Nemecyst Mortars giving a headache or two...

I think the gameplay in solo campaign feels pretty much the same as GOW1. GOW2 seems to have gone overboard with the testosterone levels! Feel like i'm going grow a second ***** and i'm only on act 4

 

Yeah i noticed your casual achievement, thought it was a glitch, you could of at least done it on normal

 

Err yeah - yeah I did - actually I went right through it on Insane but just did the last level on Casual so that all I got

 

when i first got it on the day of release i had ago on live ,i didnt do to good as ive been playing cod4 for the last year or what ever anyways i got kicked off even though i wasnt last and got a voicemail message of an american stating in a very rude and swearing manor im not welcome on gow2 its not for newbies etc etc .

thats a reason i didnt play gow online always had the same trouble even though i was pretty good at it

i remember the first time i ever played GOW1 online and was stunned at how easy i was getting wasted

match starts, run into the map, some ****** wall bouncing all over the place on his way up to me, BANG with the shotgun and i am out for the next 5 mins

figured i would fare a bit better with GOW2 as i would be playing it from launch day instead of 1 year after release, but still had a little bit of trouble for the first 3/4 games.

I added you earlier, was gonna invite u to the game but we were playin 6 on six headquarters with these obnoxious americans who couldnt take losing, lol

 

Just completed it on Normal, found it far easier than the first one on Easy! On GOW 1 I was stuck on the final level for days, on this one the end baddie was a joke, point and press twice and it was over!
I found it a tad boring to be honest. The colours were very drab and that bloody running was SO anoying! (Thanks for the heads up though 'Scooby Soon!').
As i'm not a fan of it online either it'll probably be getting traded very soon for either Far Cry 2, WOW or Fable 3.

 

far cry 2 is alright, although when ur shooting the ak47 it annoys u as the kickback is something else, lol. plus im too used to having a red dot sight on my guns with cod4 so its more tedious!
