am trying to download a film, can get it to my laptop, but when i try to burn it it say what programme do u want to open it with?nothing i have on my laptop will allow me to burn it, any ideas please.

if you want to make it into a dvd, you need to get a dvd converter... programs like nero or nti dvd-maker is good... to get these programs you'll either need to buy it or, download it as a torrent and get the seriel crack

You need to find out the file extension, if it's ISO, IMG, BIN or a host of others, it's ready for burning.

If it's AVI, MKV, MP4, MPG you'll need to convert if you want to play in a standard player.

Right click the file, choose properties and then post up the "Type of File" and we'll go from there.

Also, what are you looking to play it on?
