Default problems with Windows Media Player

every time i put a dvd in my pc i get this.
Windows Media Player cannot play this DVD because there is a problem with digital copy protection between your DVD drive, decoder, and video card. Try installing an updated driver for your video card.i've done a update but no good.any ideas

Thats because it will have downloaded the codec that WMP was looking for. Apart from VLC I found another good one was GOM player which if it didn't have a codec it does the search for you
