I put a few older xbox 360 games on today and I was shocked at how poor the graphics looked and at how I lost interest in playing the game when there was no "pad vibrate" during shooting scenes. I'm looking forward to the next version of Farcry but the 1st one I had to switch off. Its funny how games have come on

I don't think the original Far Cry on the 360 was that great anyway to be honest. I think it was more a less a straight port of the old PC version.

got farcry free with my xbox, and never even got any achievements from it LOL

traded it in not long after


been playing vegas2 all day, the gfx are crap on that one, but its still playable.

did the full story in realistic mode as i was a bit bored with terrorist hunt

personally i still think gears of war has some of the best 360 graphics ever, cant wait for gears 2

ps. i am WELL surprised that you have been playing COD4 as much as you have so far steve, i was checking your profile earlier on and noticed you have played it for more then half an hour at least

And yet the single player gameplay was the most repetative i've ever played.
When you come to an area with conviniently shaped blocks to hide behind you knew a fight was coming.

I've bought nothing but used stuff since buying my Xbox360 and I think they're really good games.

Dead Rising - great concept, fun game
Ace Combat 6 - stunning flight sim, albeit "arcadey"
Mass Effect - good concept but looking a bit dated now
Bully - took it back as it hasn't aged well

I definitely think MS did a far better job creating an easy to develope for console compared to PS3 and it shows in the games.

Didn't think all that much of Gears, graphics were very monochrome

Thought far cry was really good, great beach scenarios though i think desert wont be quite that varied
