Really noobish iTunes question...
Can anyone tell me where the option is in iTunes to "only sync selected tracks"?
Got loads of tracks in iTunes but don't want them all syncing over to my iPhone...

Just re-read. If you want to sync individual tracks then the setting is on the front page once you plug in the iPhone. The music tab lets you select all or playlists.

Or try sharepod,
i stopped using itunes ages ago
whilst it may be the "must have" app, its a mac app and really needs to
stay that way. If i have to be honest, it ranks along side AOL's browser
package as one of the most pointless pieces of software ever.
Why do you need to use a piece of software & a "sync", to delete files?
why is it not intelligent enough to work out that a full 10gb pod is full, and
therefore trying to sync and copy files to it is pointless, and will fail, long
before the error message pops up and i have to wipe and reinstall
everything again!?, despite having the non auto sync option enabled.
why can you create playlists, but the playlist when selected, never shows whats in the playlist?
Macs were quirky back in the 80,s with the no eject button drives, ( how
many important files did you loose because you couldnt eject the disk in a
hurry due to the lack of physical eject button on the drive???)
when itunes gets a better front end and improved OS then prhaps i,ll give
it another look
