Even if it dries out the keys will probably still stick. I split a harvey wallbanger all over my keyboard & had a similar situation. I took the keyboard apart, washed it in the sink, dried it out & put it back together & it was fine.

Take the laptop keyboard off (not usually that hard, a undo a screw underneath and then lift) and rinse it in water and then leave it in the airing cupboard for a day.

you CAN remove the keyboard from a laptop, but it takes a bit of work to do so.

You'll need the manual for the particular laptop you have, but essentially the top surround needs to come off and then you can pull the ribbon for the keyboard away from the main body of the laptop. Careful doing this as it will be locked to the connector.

Once free you can wash out the keyboard and leave it to THOROUGHLY dry.

Some laptops have some plastic spring retainers which both need to be pressed simultaneously to remove keyboard. Once off, as mentioned, soak in a warm soapy sink, rinse off, then dry.
Assemble the keyboard, voila.
