Default best discrete pc monitoring software (free or cheap ideally)

Had loads of experience using Ranger Remote Control, which to be honest is a great piece of software

however it is incredibly expensive, and schools need a much cheaper option of being able to remote monitor any PC(without the kids knowing, although ALL kids know that it can be done)

As I say Ranger Remote does this perfectly, but need a much much cheaper solution

You can disable remote user inputs. No mouse, keyboard etc. The only way the client knows that you're connected, is by the colour change of the system tray icon. In XP you can Always Hide the icon anyway, so they'd have to expand the System Tray and know that a blue icon means that someone is connected.

It's free. Save the taxpayer, save the world!
