I think any of the above will suit your needs, also look at Geil and OCZ as good brands for memory

Patriot is another (their performance RAM seems quiet good value at the moment)

Seeing that most brands offer a limited lifetime guaranty I don't think you can go too far wrong TBH (better off picking a retailer with a good fast returns procedure).

Just run some memory diagnostics everytime you install new RAM to ensure compatibility and check for any faulty items.

I've used the Crucial scan and it informed me of memory that i can use.

How would you know if a module is faulty?

OCZ can have compatibilty issues with quite a few mobos. When it works though it is good

You need to create a boot disk containing either....

This: Memtest86+ - Advanced Memory Diagnostic Tool

Or this: Microsoft Online Crash Analysis

Should run a test on the system BEFORE installing new RAM (to rule out any existing problem - some of which you maybe unware of), then run it after installing the new RAM....leave it running overnight using the extended test option if you want to be ultra sure. It will also ensure the memory is compatible with the mobo and settings in the BIOS are correct.
