transferring files between laptops via wireless??
Bit of help needed if possible...
Got 2 laptops (one vista, one xp) connected to wireless home broadband (Orange/Siemens modem)
Is it easy to network them so that I can transfer files from one to the other??
Talk to me like an idiot on this one as I've not got far on my own or by googling.

On the Vista machine, click on a folder with the right hand mouse button, select properties and then enable sharing. Go to the command prompt (from Start/All Programs/Accesories) and type ipconfig. This will give you the network address. It will probably be 192.168.0.x.
On the XP machine, in Explorer (or Internet Explorer) type \\ followed by the IP address of the machine. So \\192.168.0.x
You should then see the folder that you shared and you can drag/drop things to/from that folder.
