Default iPhone - Classic

I want to buy an secondhand iPhone Classic to use with my Vodafone contract.
What do I need to look out for when buying one secondhand ??

If the phone is currently locked is it easy to make it sim free ??

Anyone selling one feel free to PM me

Yes it's easy to unlock to Vodafone as long as it hasn't been upgraded to version 2, if you were with O2 the software version wouldn't matter.

If it's not running the v2.0 software then ZiPhone should be able to unlock it. It's hoped that the Pwnage tool will be updated fairly soon to unlock the v2.0 software, but it will only work on the 2G/1st Gen iPhones and not the new 3G iPhones.

Thanks for the Info.

I think I've found one, but was unsure as it was locked. Just waiting for a call back from a mate tomorrow.
