I require help on access 2000. I am doing a final year project on access and its based on a video shop. I have got the basics done, ie menu, buttons, forms, etc. But I need to make some of the menus more fancy, ie when I enter the membership number of a customer on the membersID field, I would like the database to automaticaly search the ID number in my database and bring up the customers name on the name_field. How would I go about to do this?

I have done the above by running a query, when I enter the member ID, it finds the name, but when I try to search another member it comes up with "Index or primary key cannot contain a null value". What does this mean?

Cheers
