Default usb keyboard not working at all properly in the bios...

3 hours, from scratch, building a new pc.

post screen shows 8gb ram and 3 sata drives

I get the abit pro xe boot screen and the keyboard doesn't really respond and when it does it's like the keys are random.

Do I need a ps2 keyboard for the first bios run?
