Default wma to mp3

i work with a bloke who does some djing and has brought a cd in of mixes but iwant to put it on my phone (w810i), i have saved them to my hard drive but need to convert them to mp3 to out on my memory card, any ideas anyone, (vista premium)

The software that came with your phone (I think its the old "Disc to phone" on the W810) will do it.

Or just go to the sony ericsson site and download media manager, that will do it.

I missed the SE bit on the original post. If you're going to simply play the songs then plonking them on as mp3 will be fine. If you want to use them as ringtones then, certainly on my w200a, you need to mess about with DRM encoding for some bizarre reason. It's not a massive hassle though, Sony does have tools available to massage the the DRM side of things. I'm just looking for the link to them now.

I think that this is the link, have look for DRM Packager as that's what you want.

genius thank you, i wouldnt nrmally bother but the songs are good.
