Broadband, email, domains - Advice Please !
Ok, after some advice, currently peed off with my current provider, Nildram who asre managing to be both useless and exensive, used to be good but customer servie is none existent.
I want to move but I have had my email address for several years and dont really want to chang as its going to be a nightmare.
So, to ease this and ease future changes I though I might get a domain and use that for email rather than the on that comes with the broadband, is this easy enough to do ?
I take it I cannot keep my existing mail address unless I keep paying Nildram.
A lot of the packages are about 3 quid a month, for some webspace and some email adressess, I take it I can set up one easily for wife and kids at the domain name ?
Also, what broadband provider is good, Sky seem cheap at £10 for the full on 16 mb package, are they any good, the telly customer service is generally good and I like it all in one place.
How long should it take to switch over ?

depends whether your email is under a nildram domain or you own your domain... you can easily move your domain to another host but if its jacko@nildram.com or similar then you are stuck with them
