Not a bad price for a reasonable spec'd laptop. I have a Dell Vostro as my work laptop (albeit with a slight faster processor, more memory and XP) and my only gripe is how heavy it is.

The weight is the only downside to the Vostro range, they are outstanding machines. We have a few of their tower pc's that came with free 24" TFT's. The spec was almost as much as some of our servers and they were only £800 about 3 months back.

What are the graphics like on them? can they be used to run some "normal" games (not crysis or the likes)

Not really. That intel graphics chip is ok for business / windows use, but it's not great for gaming (unless you are playing games that are a few years old).
