Arrow GOOD BUG TRACKING SOFTWARE

I work as a Test Analyst and my company is looking into getting some new bug tracking software as we currently use a very complex access DB - built in house.

The obvious package to go for would be Test Director but licence fees are massive and this is more than just bug tracking.

Can anyone suggest any good bug tracking applications?

We would like it to include options such as email notification when a bug has been raised e.g you are able to assign email groups to certain business areas

Cheers

You could look at a few open source things such as Trac or Bugzilla
