batch resize, compress a folder of jpegs ?

Default batch resize, compress a folder of jpegs ?

Does anyone know of a tool that can take a folder of jpegs and perform the same adjustments on them all ?

eg. resize to 640x480
change compression level to 50%

I use VSO Image resizer, its free and as good as their other products.

I think there is a power toy addon that lets you do this by right clicking on images that are in explorer. Saves you even opening them up.

Adobe Fireworks will do this too or Automator on a Mac....
