Had to download a java update for work this weekend, and the only way it would download was if I accepted the yahoo toolbar too

Now the stupid thing interferes with what I'm doing.

Can I delete it, and if so, how?

I could've sworn it was in add/remove programs... but if not try (IE) tools, manage add ons and see if you can disable the presently loaded ones in there

the java update does not need the tool bar its tick box !

Add/remove as said or view tool bar untick
