tiscali
Just changed my server to tiscali big mistake. The connection speed is so slow its like i'm using dial up (8mb - unlimited). I have had it for five days now is it possible to get out of the twelve month contract? Anyone else had this problem with tiscali

Never had that problem but just pray you never move house as i had a nightmare with them trying to move my connection to my new house. After about four months i gave up and changed provider.

I cancelled Tiscali as it was very unreliable, went down to 56k if I exceeded download limit. Would be down for weeks on end. Their telephone support is dreadful and they insisted their servers wern't down when I couldn't get online. Spoke to another operator who confirmed that it was indeed down! They also refused to give out a mac code.
If you do a search they come out worst in pretty much all IP comparisons. Theres quite a few comments by angry customers too!

Have just cancelled the connection. Been on the phone for a hour to India (tech support) and he cut me off, unbelievable. RANT RANT RANT. So as i was a new customer of about 4/5 days no charges have been made. BUT my line has been tagged and will take up to 15 days to clear. i have just done a bandwidth test 114.00 kbps, should be 4/6mb.
