Toshiba Laptops?
Gonna buy myself a cheap laptop (around 300 quid)
Now Ebuyer seems to have some good deals, now having spoke to a few people they tell me get one with a dual core processor as its a lot better, so this narrows it down somewhat, anyway the HP or Fujitsu i was looking at do not have this but they sell Toshiba laptops that have.
How do these perform? any issues etc.?
Thanks for your help.
Cheers

Toshiba have been doing some great offers lately
50 quid cashback, 150 quid of accessories (you have to buy the accessories first then get a refund) that 150 quid could be a 3 year warranty
They are also doing a deal that if your laptop fails for a warranty reason then you get a brand new replacement laptop and a full refund (this also applies to the 3 year warranty too)
They arent too bad a machine either really

They seem OK, got a friend the £400 one from PC World before New Year. That was a nice machine to use. The keyboard and mouse buttons were not quite on a par with a £800 Dell, but then it was a lot cheaper. Also the USB ports were a little light on power, with only one power hungry device being able to be plugged in at a time.

got a Toshiba A200 Dualcore laptop off a friend in PC World who recommended it to me just after Christmas. Have to say I am very impressed! Not had a single problem although the battery could do with lasting a bit longer.
I just use it for surfing the web and working on spreadsheets and it does it nicely

We have been using Toshibas at work for the last 18 months and unfortunately our experience of them hasn't been good.
So much so in fact, that only 18 months down the line we're phasing in a refresh of all 50,000 laptops to replace them with IBM Lenovos.

What did you opt for?
I`m looking for a budget laptop but being clueless about computers I`ve no idea what to go for
I`ve had a look at a basic Dell but I`m just lost in the speil of duo core, ram, memory, blah blah
