web design - how to create browser icon for website
In the URL window of your internet browser is typically the website address eg. https://www.scoobynet.com
Over to the left of that can be a small icon custom designed for the site.
How is that done ?

Grab whatever image you want (gif, jpg, png, and bmp) and then try using this to create a .ico file, which as bob says, you upload to the root of the site, and browsers should pick it up.

It's your favicon.
Favicon Generator and Gallery
Do these only show up on the home page or all pages?
- I have the code in the same place on every page, but it only shows on the home page.
Is this another problem i'm having with on/offline?

you might need to add the code :
< link rel="icon" href="/images/favicon.ico" type="image/x-icon" / >
< link rel="shortcut icon" href="/images/favicon.ico" type="image/x-icon" / >
< link rel="icon" href="/images/favicon.ico" type="image/x-icon" / >
< link rel="shortcut icon" href="/images/favicon.ico" type="image/x-icon" / >
