Default Mac Experts :)

If I wanted a Mac Laptop

and I wanted to do the following

Run Photoshop & possibly Lightroom
Surf the Web
Run either Parallels (for XP) or Bootcamp to dual boot

Want at least minimum 1400 resolution reasonable hard disk space, USB wireless (possibly bluetooth)

What sort of Machine should I be looking at, price is also very key (as in cheap as chips )

Also would like to run Audio software (possibly under XP though)

If you want 1400 on the laptop then I think it's only the 15" or 17" MacBook Pro for you.
To run XP you need one with an Intel processor so older models are out.
The MacBook and MacBook Air are cheaper (Air isn't much) but are only 1280. You can add a second screen but not sure what res it will support. It the MBP supports a higher red 2nd screen that might be a good cost effective solution.

Apple Store - U.K. - MacBook Air

Press the compare specs button, bottom right.

I would suggest a refurb 15" MBP.

there is Sonic. IIRC it's at a specific time Wednesdays (not sure)

Here's the refurb link

HERE

Dan

PS MacBook Pro is the way to go. I've got a 15" - the 17 was too big (IMHO)
