Great Day - I think having the 2 offices to prevent "spying" made for some good tactical games. And as for those "other" games for when we got bored of C/S - might not be needed next time

I can't beleive some of you are playing again now on locked - my eyes hurt and the wife would kill me !

It was a sad end to the day though I got home put my computer back together and my intellieye mouse doesn't work
Tried it on both PC's and although windows knows somethings plugged in to the USB (tried serial connectin too) it can't id it

Great day looking forward to the next one. RR cheers for the organisation . Great to meet you all and put faces to your AKA's and muffled intercomm voices.

So which team kicked *** then? We worked well as a team apart from rr who had his headset volume turned up so loud he couldnt hear us shouting at him .
Stats look great apart from they say I never played as a T.

Sorry I had to leave early the Mrs kept on calling me, got home a bit late but the day was well worth the nagging.

all depends when it is.

i do ok playing at home.....she uses a pc a lot as well or watches tv.

but driving a couple hundred miles or wotever to play CS would probably not go down particulary well.

Sorry for not posting on this thread earlier.

Big thanks to RoadRunner for arranging the venue, which was perfect, and to Deano for bringing the kit to make it all work. Only suggestion for next game is to have the custom maps burned onto CD-ROM so that we do not have to download them from the server. Seems a bit slow for some reason.


Anyway, I had a cracking time apart from a spliting headache that started about late morning and developed into a migrane. By lunch time I was actually feeling quick sick (Sorry Puff for not being very communicative when you popped over to see me playing Homeworld during the pizza break. I was not feeling too well at that point and felt like throwing up).

Took a couple of days off work sick as I was still feeling iffy the next day (hence the late posting)

Look forward to the next one
