Can it be done?

I want to watch a video on mtv.com but the screen says cant be shown outside the US because of copyright issues.

My thought was to fool the server into thinking i was inside the US by changing my IP address to a US one?

Any ideas?

you may be able to fool it by using a proxy server - just search google for free proxy server and you should get a list of IP addresses you can connect to.

You can also IP spoof but I'll leave you to work it out

Proxies tend to be quite slow and things like Java etc can fail through them !!

Tried hide my ip, although it changed my ip and i checked the request US ip box, i still could not view, hmmm. any other ideas?
