Default Address label printing from a database

Having recently deactivated a legacy application, I need to provide ability to print address labels (probably Avery L7163) from a database. I also need ability to add records to the database and print ad hoc labels.

Does anyone know of any free apps or perhaps something they've created in Access before I start from scratch?

If it's just basic labelling you want that sort of stuff is built in to access/word using wizards.

The Word wizard isn't up to the job. It needs to accept something like the client code or the first letter of the company name and return the related address. I haven't looked at the Access wizards yet, but a standalone app would be nice and simpler for simple end users
