Default Fonts suddenly changed on webpages?

I recently did some disk clean ups on my machine as it was unstable.
I don't know if this is a coincidence but webpages now have a very slight difference in their display font. Some of which is rather bold with a very slight blur.
Is there a setting somewhere I need to change?

Thanks StickyMicky and Pete.

I've installed but to be honest my eyes are now funny as I've stared at the LCD for too long trying to pick out the best setup
Will look again soon when my eyes have healed

I think I accepted the default (or recommended) ClearType setting when I installed IE7, and wondered what was wrong with the fonts.

When I switched ClearType off again everything went back to normal.

It was very puzzling at first - the difference was slight, but still noticeable and annoying - I was wondering whether it was my imagination or my ageing eyes!
