Looks like Wii stock in increasing...
just got one from Amazon.co.uk for the base price. Must have been available for about 15 minutes which is a vast increase on the seconds they were appearing on websites for.
Ebay prices have also dropped, saw them going for £290 last week where as they now go for about £240 for a new UK one although postage is £25 across the board it seems.

I walked into my local supermarket last week and bought 2 over the counter for 249 euros each.
oh yeah and a tennis racket, baseball bat and golf club that you slide the nunchuk in for €14.99 aswell

I did get told that from what they can gather, Nintendo have plenty of Wii's, but don't plan on shipping the bulk till the week before Xmas to kill of the money theifs, this way they'll be unable to buy, auction and guarantee delivery before Xmas, meaning people don't get ripped off.
Not sure if true but sounds a logical plan.
