Help me find a "learning to drive" game.. . .
I'm looking for a "driving simulator" for my dad to help him on the road to recovery after his severe stroke 3 months back.
It needs to help him improve reaction times, perception & anticipation.
I can't for the life of me find anything that's any good.
GTR2's OK for some things, but doesn't really apply to "roads".
Any suggestions?

test drive unlimited
grand theft auto has a road network, with pedestrians
midtown madness 2 is set in London and SF, USA for PC
midtown madness 3 is set in France and Washington for the Xbox
MM2 has a cruise mode where all you do is drive about.

First thing I thought of was test drive unlimited. It just doesn't have to be played like a game with objectives, you can just drive about doing what ever you like and there is plenty of traffic on the roads. Add to that a driving seat and steering wheel and its probably as realistic as you are going to get from a home game system/pc.

does testdrive unlimited have a UK map - or is it all US based?
It's going to be difficult enough to get him to relearn driving on the Left
