Question Any current deals on external hard drives?
Need a new external drive, preferably 320gb-500gb. Anyone know of any special offers anywhere?

I know Staples had an offer on recently but that appears to have stopped.

Not seen any deals as such but the Lacie USB drives in the Porsche boxes look to be pretty good £/gig at the mo with 500gig for 60ish quid.

ive got one of those and its quite good.
Its not good on Mac/Leopard if you have another USB drive though.

You could always DIY it with a separate enclosure and then add in whatever size drive you want. Could work out cheaper than one of the LaCie type drives
