Is there any way to get Dreamweaver to open the preview browser window in 800x600 or 1024x768 ?

Just want to see how the web applicaiton looks on a smaller resolution screen - bit of a pain having to change the desktop resolution and messing up all my icons.

as far as i know there is no way. Think you will just have to change your res or have a second machine like i have to test the websites and applications on.

Could've sworn this feature used to be in Dreamweaver back in days of yore.

There is a similar feature, but it only shows the width and height of the res within the page you are working on. So really its workspace thing.

In the specify browser setup in dreamweaver can you add a switch.

firefox.exe -width 800 -height 600

That should work, not sure if there's a similar switch for IE tho.
