I have installed my Livebox today after having it sitting in a draw for 6 months. To my PC it is linked by wire. But Im trying to connect my PSP to it.

I have the 26 diget WPA password from the base of the livebox.
Ive then added this to the PSP .. Ive connected the PSP at Airports and Hotels, so know how to do it.

The problem I have is the PSP finds the Livebox, The PSP tells me its exchanging key information, and then says there is a connection error, the connection access point timed out ??

what am I doing wrong? I havent got a laptop yet but will have at Christmas and would like to connect that too.


But for now can someone help with the Livebox / PSP ??

Its not something to do with pairing is it?

There's a button on the box than you have to press to pair it with a wireless connection - I had to do this with my laptop.

Tried it a few times with my PSP and was never successful, no having trouble getting a Mac Mini to connect to it...

Yes Ive pressed this button before I get the psp to connect.
Surely they havent designed it not to work with a PSP ?

Got it sorted ...

change the security setting to the top setting WEP on the psp, it will then allow you to connect

I have a similar problem. My PSP used to connect to the livebox no problem but since configuring the livebox to allow torrent sharing I can't get the PSP to pair.

My laptop still connects without issue though.
