Buying a graphics card in the US?
My folks are off to Florida for 4 weeks. With the strong rate against the dollar and cheaper US prices anyway Im tempted to get them to order a 8800GT from an online retailer and bring it back with them.
Is there anything else I need to think about such as differences in power supply etc? Im guessing my warranty wouldnt be worth a sausage so unless the saving is reasonable then there is not enough benefit to warrant the risk.
Cheers,
Simon

Hello
I have done that in the past. The only problem that I had is that most online retailers would not take my UK credit card and ship to a US address (especially a non-residential place like my office/hotel).
In the end I had to physically go to a shop (Frys) and get a card that was on offer that week: Frys have amazing offers, where they will reduce the price of something by 50-80% for one week only.
