CoD 4...PS3 or 360
Thinking about getting this but don't know if to buy for the 360 or the PS3. I would of thought they are pretty much the same in gameplay/graphics????? I suppose its down to the controller and online play, of which i like the 360 on both accounts

Well personally i've got it on the PS 3 and it's absolutely stunning .
Easily the best game that's come out on the PS 3 ( not hard considering the slow up take with games thus far ) and certainly bodes well for the future.
I know there's a lot of Xbox 360 die hards on here but personally the PS 3 still has what it takes for me, oh and the small matter of Gran Turismo 5 coming out very soon .
Mark.

Personally id buy it for the 360, im quite sure theres more 360 owners than PS3 owners so you will have more choice with online games.

Aye the only thing consoles do better in my opinion are fighting and platform games oh you can sit on yor couch when you play them, also good for when your mates come round. But apart from that pc games **** all over consoles

To the average person £300-£400 quid is a huge expense to fork out for a console that is very slow in churning out good games.
But it's a personal choice that I bought mine and I don't regret it.
I've had all the Playstation consoles thus far so the PS 3 was a natural progression ( that and the laser packed up on my PS 2 ).
The Blu-ray playback is also superb and the up-scaling of DVD's is another handy bonus that all adds up to quality viewing on my HDTV.
My point at the begining was that hopefully now that COD4 has come out hopefully we will start to see what the PS 3 can really do.
Gran Turismo 5 is already well recognised that it will be a massive hit but lets see what else comes along.

I've only the 360, but as mentioned above, it'll be preference on the controller you prefer, i would suspect online the 360 has the bigger community.
Either console it's a cracking game, i especially like the 15yr throw back, well the first half anyway, didn't like having to run away like a girl in the second half.
And to those who say PC's pee over console's, i should bloomin' well hope so the amount they cost, one of your graphics cards could cost the price of a console, well prehaps not the PS3, but hey

I happen to have a powerful PC anyway for work, so the fact it can comfortably play games like Crysis, COD4 and Bioshock, is a bonus!
I want to stick an HD projector in my office though, so its a case of choosing something HD to play on it SkyHD, and Xbox360 is what I think I'll go with.
