Default Leopard disk

Does anyones else's disk say upgrade disk on it??

I got mine through today and I have to admit I am slightly taken aback by Apple. I got a disk in a paper wallet and a small book in a Jiffy bag.

No box, no manual.

Did you purchase a full copy or an upgrade copy? Could be they shipped you the wrong disk by mistake.

This is what my 10.4 full install DVD looked like. Granted, it came via ADC so I wasn't expecting a box, but it is rather minimal.

That sounds about right then as it's an upgrade rather than full boxed version

I'm guessing you're trying to image the drive you're currently booted from, if so then you can't do it, you need to be booted from another drive/partition. You could try booting up from the install DVD and running Disk Utility from there, then, with the external drive attached, see if it'll let you image the internal drive.

Your right I was.

Oh well I'll get a backup of my user file soonish I'll have a complete list of all progs installed as well so it will only be time consuming to do a reinstall.
