Default Some FANTASTIC games around for the PC this Christmas

Talk about feast or famine on the PC, this is gonna be amazing....

CRYSIS
My kind of game on the PC. What's not to like. Incredible.

KANE & LYNCH
Haven't played the demo, but loved the HITMAN franchise. All the in-game footage looks great. I'm not a multi-player fan, but the twist they've put into this section sounds fun - bank robbery, police vs. robbers. Last man standing gets the loot ;-)

CALL OF DUTY 4
Great demo recently. Another must have for me.

BIOSHOCK
Just got around to playing the demo - wow, the water effects are incredible. That first scene with the plane crash and the reflections on the water.

So much for HD projector and Xbox360 I was going to stick in my office to play Halo 3 on!

You missed one of my favourite games: Unreal Tournament. It is out on the 30th November. Pre-ordered with Amazon at £23.

Unreal Tournament 3

It isn't multi-player. Well, it is, but has a decent single-player mode as well.

Really ? I always thought it was designed around multi-player.

I took the plunge and bought BIOSHOCK tonight when I found myself in PC World. I'm enjoying it, but playing in small bursts.

Had a "crap my pants" moment on the medical level when I turned around in the silence and found myself face to face with some type of Zombie nurse!!

Depends what format you mean?

Most reputable sellers are saying 2008 for UT3, i think Sony chucked a few quid in the pot and got the early release exclusive, pretty sure you wont see a 360/PC release this chirstmas

Unreal 3 is supposed to be here on 23rd November for the PC -- they even took out a full page advertisement in Edge.

They've removed the 360 logo's from the official UT3 website, is this another game Sony have paid off to can it.

Edited to say, just found this link, still gonna release but at a later stage. (Even tho the 360 is probably already done)

CVG article about Xbox 360 (YES we're doing it!) and PC system specs - Epic Games Forums
