Default External DVD writer/burner, anyone know the best make ?

I am after an external DVD burner/writer with ideally lightscribe on it so i can burn labels onto the disc, i have een looking at the HP 1040e which has a write speed of upto x20 and the LG GSA-E60L which has the same write speed.

Does anyone know which are the best and most reliable models out there at the moment ? Thanks

I hear what you're saying about lightscribe but give glossy printables and a cheap inkjet a try - vastly superior, quicker and cheaper in the long run.
Sorry I can't add anything on the external makes, I just got an internal TSST and it's nice....
