Default FREE CCTV software?

Can anybody direct me to some FREE software I can get to run some CCTV cameras off a PC?

I've done the googling thing and keep getting free trials which you have to then eventually pay for.

thanks.

Erm, doesn't the hardware you have come with the software to do this already?

If not, you can always take a look at the AverMedia site. They do hardware cards for Pcs for CCTV. We have a standalone box so I cannot comment on their software. I do know that you can download it for free though. No idea if you are going to get it to work without their hardware though, sorry.

I use some software called Eyeline.
It's not bad for free actually. You can use either proper cctv cameras with capture cards, or USB cameras. It has pretty good motion detection too.
You can even log into your pc from elsewhere and view your cameras and motion alerts if you turn that feature on in the menu.

Eyeline download

most of the "free" stuff i have seen has been pretty dire compared with the real stuff

what card do you have?

you can download the wave-p software for free (what i use) but it will only work with wave-p cards (not the usual ebay tit/tat)
