sli mobo's anyone
Hi all. starting to hunt about for a new rig, just a small question.Ok if i get an sli equipped motherboard would i be able to run just one graphics card on it and install another one at a later date? if so could anyone recommend one? been looking at the asus brand which usually tend to be the most reliable also probably going to get the quad core q6600.Also im looking at the nvidia 8800gtx which is direct x10 but could i run this card on xp with dx9? or is it vista compatible only vista
Thanks in advance for any replies.

Yes you can run just one graphics card on an SLi motherboard. It can even be an ATI card.
The nvidia 8800 series cards perform superbly with dx9 blowing away all dx9 graphics cards before them.
