Hi there,

I was looking for a mid-range mobo for an upgrade. I'm looking to get an Athlon XP (<>2Ghz-ish, nothing too fancy), GeForce 4200, and some new RAM. Does anyone have any suggestions for a decent board, good brand (I'm sick of the type of problems I've been getting with my current no-name board) nothing too dear that 'matches' the above.

I already have decent soundcard, networking, etc, so I'm not bothered about on board peripherals and they tend to be pretty crap anyway.

Also, is DDR ram noticably better than standard SD stuff?

Cheers
Joolz

Thanks peeps - those nforce2 mobos seem to come very recommended and are now top of the shopping list. My current system won't know what's hit it (Athlon Slot A 600 + GeForce 1 )
