Xbox 360 Elite or PS3?

I went out looking for a 360 Elite round Aberdeen the other day and couldn't find one for love nor money, a lot of places said they might not even get them in before x-mas!
However one place told me that there isn't much difference in the 360 Elite and the 360 Premium - Elite is black, comes with HDMI cable and 120Gb hard drive and that's the only difference, both however have the same HD capabilities though, you would just need to buy the cable for the Premium. Similarly if you wanted 120Gb storage you will be able to buy the HDD, but store manager told me this is unlikely since he isn't even close to 10Gb on his one.

In a nutshell - the Elite is black with a bigger HDD, the latest premiums also have HDMI so its not exclusive to the Elite anymore.
The Elite's are currently scarce becuase MS is building up a stockpile of Xmas bundles that include Forza 2 and another game (possibly Shadowrun).
As for 360 Vs PS3 - well...
