Mac Mini and remote desktop, possible?
I need to get a mac to test cross browser compatibility. Is it possible to remote desktop connect to a mac mini running the latest version of os x?
Also, will a mac mini start up ok without a monitor/keyboard/mouse?
Thanks
J

Yes it will run headless, but you will need to connect a keyboard/monitor/mouse to set the thing up, have a look here and search for the word headless.
That also covers the RDC thing. If you enable Remote Desktop then it's the same as enabling VNC, thus any VNC client will be able to connect to the machine. If you don't want to use Apple's version then have a look at this. I've not used VineServer (just downloaded a copy to try) but I have used it's predecessor osxVNC and it was very reliable.
