Question Evesham LCD tv's

I'm looking for a reasonably priced 32" LCD with at least one HDMI port and a DVI input as well. Basically so I can a 360 and a Mac Mini to handle media duties.

Someone pointed me in the direction of Evesham and they have a model in the Alqemi range going for £349 a the moment which seems like a good deal to me. I'm not a brand snob so what am I missing - is the deal to good to be true for a reason?

Would any current owners care to comment or failing that what other 32" (or larger) LCD's from the more well known makes cut the mustard on a budget of between £300 and £600 ?

I know I could go an pick up a magzine and read the reviews but they don't reflect real world usage do they :-)

I'd want to see one before buying. Only 8ms refresh rate means you could see some blurring on fast moving video...

Not especially. I went the plasma route as I couldn't find an lcd that I liked, (the plasma had much better colour reproduction, and don't blur at speed).

The Samsung lcds were pretty good though...

Was a pre-pack administration deal with the guys who founded Time in the UK. They upset AMD & Viewsonic big style with what happened. Also claims of shipments of kit to them disappearing around the time it kicked off.
