Default BE* Much cheaper from Today

Hello

Just to let you know that Be* has dropped quite significantly in price from today.

£18 gets you 24mb down 1.5mb up and a static IP (if you want one),
£24 is 24mb/down and 2.5mb up.

I have had Be* for about 10 months now and haven't had a problem and when downloading a popular torrent regularly get speeds of 1.4mb/s.

Bethere is fantastic, no ports block.. well none you'd use and it will work on Xbox.. PS3 everything.

I had BE there about 3000000 miles away from exchange and got 1.5 upload and 7mb down... very impressed !!

I'm now on Virgin and get an actually download of 2.4MB/s which is amazing.. the upload sucks though.

If I didnt get my VM connection for £1.50 a month I would without a doubt be with Be ! best ISP I've known in all my ... years of computing... I'm getting old

Andy

Nothing is blocked as far as I can see and it works fine with my Xbox 360.

Here is the speedtest:

(slightly slower today for some reason)

I tried to move to Be today but they wouldn't have me. Exchange is enabled and all that but I'm 4.903 Km from the exchange and they reckoned I'd only get 0.8Mbps compared with the 4 and wee bit I get on old ADSL Max.
