Default DVD-RW

How do I re-use the disc after messing up burning, or after I'm done with whats on it?

Is there a way to reformat them?

Windows does not seem to think it's a DVD...still thinks its a CD.

Apologies if I'm being dumb.

When you initially put a DVD-RW into a DVD writer isn't it meant to initialise it? Once that's done it's meant to be treated as a writeable volume...

My PC just says what do I want to do with a blank disc.

Initialising was not an option.

Perhaps something like Nero from Ahead

That gives you the specific option to re-format a Re-Writeable disc
