Default good range wifi routers /APs

which wireless routers offer the best range (with or without Omnidirectional antennas etc)

need a router to go in a old old house with a repeater on the 1st floor to cover the top floors - dont want to go point to point wiring.

I've had personal experience of the Netgear Rangemax ADSL routers. Excellent coverage, speed & also nice config control panel. Use the matched Netgear Rangemax wireless nics for best coverage.
