Auto insert notification turned off?

If you click on my computer with a cd in the drive does it tell you what the cd is?
(is it recognising it correctly).

If not and you press F5 does it then recognise them?

Its not Natalie Imbruglia's latest cd is it ?

If the record companies have their way then cd's will not be playable in computer cd drives, and you will have to pay twice to get the music in digital (mp3 etc) format

ATI is a graphics card manufacturer, the only ATI Software that would need to have anything to do with the CD-Rom would be the ATI DVD player.

So i wouldn't go just un-installing the ATI software.

try opening CD player rather than the Creative Player and see if the disc plays through there.

Ian, the ATI software DOES include a CD player depending what card you got. It's got a whole multimedia centre including the DVD player and a Video CD player as well.

HTH,

Simon.
