Speak for yourself, I spent a couple of hours on it and could only manage to max about 5 of the buttons

Can't complete it after about an hour on it 
Got the train going round and seemed fairly close but just couldn't get there. I take it the chemistry set has to be last due to the earth quakes knocking it over any earlier? Got basically the above but without the computer and chemistry set linked together. Problem is I can't even get back to that stage now aaarrrrgggghhhhhhh

A solution for you. First, I'll identify the items from left to right with a name and number:
Battery = 1
Microchip = 2
Pickaxe = 3
Burner = 4
Wheel = 5
Logs = 6
Chimney = 7
Screw/Bolt = 8
Now for the order you need to click them in. Hightlight the hidden line below:
8, 3, 6, 5, 7, 1, 2, 4
Battery = 1
Microchip = 2
Pickaxe = 3
Burner = 4
Wheel = 5
Logs = 6
Chimney = 7
Screw/Bolt = 8
