Hello

I use an ethernet bridge and to be honest just plugged it in and it works .. have you got the Xbox 360 to auto detect everything and your router is handing out DNS to your other computers?

Hi Steve,

wouldnt have a clue

how do i make the router give out DNS stuff...

i tried following the setup guide, but it throws a paddy on IP addresses...

i understand the concept, but how do i finds out what pc / router wireless card has which IP address...

i managed to wipe out the setting for the wireless lappy when i plugged it onto there

what the point of giving each IP address a name if all you get back is a mac code?

turned out ip address 2 is asigned to the lappy, but it uses a different address...

so the bridge has a new addy and were away..

Quick Q

is there ans SW or utilities, that will show me what is using my network , wirelessly or cable

i have odd mac code in my router that don't make any sense

What router do you have? On mine you can login to the admin screen and then there is 'connected devices' which will show you all the computers it is currently talking to.
